Pequot Lakes shares back-to-school information
Following is back-to-school information for Pequot Lakes School District families.
With a few exceptions, athletic fees for the 2017-18 school year are $100 per student per activity (grades 9-12) and $75 per student per activity (grades 6-8) with no maximum. Fees must be paid before the first practice. No one will be denied the right to participate due to financial hardship.
Parking fees are $30 for the school year. Permits are available in the high school office.
Family activity passes are $90. This pass includes all immediate family members in household (two adults and students in grades K-12).
Individual activity passes are available as follows: adults, $30; students (K-12) and senior citizens (60+), $20.
Activity passes can be purchased online with a debit or credit card. Passes are also available in the district office during regular office hours.
School lunch prices are set at $2.25 for students in pre-kindergarten-grade 4, and $2.50 for students in grades 5-12. Breakfast for all students currently enrolled in the Pequot Lakes School District will be free for the 2017-18 school year.
The lunch program is on a pre-pay basis, so no students or adults can charge meals without adequate funds in their account. All accounts are set up as family accounts. A minimum balance of $20 is recommended per student at the beginning of the year. Food service payments can be made on the Skyward family access page online with a debit or credit card.
Applications for free/reduced lunches are available on the school website and in any of the school offices and may be submitted at any time during the school year. A new application must be submitted each year. Anyone who has questions or concerns can call Patty Buell at 218-568-9363.
RevTrak provides the convenience of making online payments, which can be made by going to www.isd186.org and clicking on the "Parent" tab on the right side of the website and then clicking on "RevTrak." There are no additional fees for online payments.
Refer to the school supply list when buying supplies for students in preschool through middle school. Detailed lists are available in area stores, school offices and online at www.isd186.org. High school students will need pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, folders and gym clothes (T-shirts, shorts, socks and tennis shoes). Other supplies will be determined by specific teachers.
