Pine River-Backus Community Education offers the following upcoming class. Register online at prbschools.revtrak.net or call 218-587-2080.

  • Super Charged Obedience (4 weeks): 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 25 and Sept 1, 8 and 15, in the soccer field behind Pine River-Backus School. Fee: $55.

This class will focus on having a dog that will listen no matter what is happening around them. The dog and its owner will work to have the dog obey "sit," "down," "leave it," "stay" and recall through all different types of distractions such as people walking, other dogs, toys, food, noises and smells.
Dogs will maintain a focus on their owner and a loose leash. Participants should be ready with treats and praise. This class is for dogs that already know basic commands. No multi-dog discount is offered. All family members are encouraged to attend.
