The trip is traditionally an overnight trip in March, however, due to COVID-19, the trip was modified into two day trips. In addition, since 2020 eighth graders had to miss out on their field trip to Deep Portage, the ninth graders were invited to attend this year.
Cass County Commissioners Neal Gaalswyk, Robert Kangas, Jeff Peterson, Scott Bruns and Rick Haaland helped arrange funding for the trip.
