Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District invites photographers of all ages and abilities to submit their photos for the 2017 Native Plant & Tree Photo Contest. Entries are due by Monday, Oct. 30.

All the entries will be featured on SWCD's Facebook page, website and potentially other educational or promotional items for the SWCD. The first-place winner will receive a 20" x 16" canvas of their photo, and the winning photo will be featured at the SWCD booth at the 2017 Crow Wing County Fair. The second-place winner will receive a mug with their photo on it, and the third-place winner will receive notecards with their photo on them.

Past photo contest winners are currently featured in the new 2017 Crow Wing County Plat Books, and there will be a silent auction of 16x20 canvas prints at an upcoming BAELN (Brainerd Area Environmental Learning Network) event. The BAELN hosts The Lake Friendly Awards Ceremony in June at The Crow Wing County Land Services Building, 322 Laurel Street Brainerd.
