The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) has easy-to-plant, bare-root trees and shrubs available through a miscellaneous tree/shrub pre-order sale. Availability of the following is limited.
• Shrubs: 150 High-Bush Cranberry, 50 Red-Osier Dogwood, and 20 Nanking Cherry.
• Trees: 75 American Plum and 50 Black Cherry.
Cost is $2 per tree or shrub, or $1.50 each if ordering 50 or more trees/shrubs. They are all approximately 18 inches to 24 inches tall.
Deadline for pre-ordering is Oct. 3. Pay with credit card, check or cash.

Pick up is from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Crow Wing SWCD office at 322 Laurel St., Suite 13, in Brainerd.
The annual tree/plant pre-order sale for spring pickup will be in January.
