Crow Wing County's newest plat book, published by the Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District with Mapping Solutions, is available for $35 plus tax at the SWCD office located at 322 Laurel St., Suite 22, in Brainerd. Premium wall maps are also available.
This 2015 book includes aerial view maps opposite the land ownership map pages. The 170-page spiral-bound book features township and range maps of Crow Wing County. These maps include the property boundaries for all rural parcels within a township, the name of the owner and the number of acres owned.
Also, there is a landowner index for cross referencing.
The book also contains information regarding the Crow Wing SWCD program and a map of the supervisors' districts. Some of the other maps in this new edition include: school districts map, lake maps and a map of the Cuyuna bike trail. There is a Crow Wing County government directory included and an explanation of the public land survey system.
This information is valuable to anyone with a need to know who owns land in Crow Wing County, including prospective or adjoining property owners, hunters, foresters, timber and petroleum industry personnel, emergency services and others, a SWCD news release said.
