For the third year in a row, Crow Wing County employees contributed the highest organizational total to the United Way of Crow Wing and Southern Cass Counties.
County employees just finished their annual United Way campaign and pledged to contribute
$21,345 to United Way through payroll deductions throughout 2015. This year's campaign
theme was "Building a Better Future Together."
"This year's campaign results once again reflect the giving spirit of county employees and demonstrate in one very real and tangible way how much county employees care about this community," County Administrator Tim Houle said in a news release. "Not only does this reflect how much we care about the health of this community, but I think we also receive so much more in the act of giving. It makes me very proud to be associated with this group of caring and committed team of people."
