The leadership of Central Minnesota Council, Boy Scouts of America, and the leadership of American Legion Post 500, Crosslake, announce the formation of a new Cub Scout Pack in Crosslake.
"We will be holding our first meeting Monday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post for those boys who have joined and to welcome any new boys who sign up that night," said Kenneth Toole, Pine Tree District executive, Central Minnesota Council.
"We are very excited to have the new pack starting up and are eager to welcome new boys to join the pack to help it grow," Toole said.
The American Legion Post is located at 35112 County Road 3, Crosslake.
"Cub Scouts is available for boys in first grade and up to 11 years of age," said Toole. "We will be giving each new Cub Scout a free model rocket. To help make their first memorable moment in their new scouting life, the rocket will be launched at an upcoming meeting."
