THEFT: Report on July 7 at 3:45 p.m. of theft of gasoline on Crystal Lake Road of Merrifield.
WATER TRAFFIC STOP: Report on July 6 at 8:56 p.m. of a diver on Cross Lake arrested for boating while intoxicated.
Breezy Point Police Department
HIT AND RUN: Report on July 7 at 3:48 p.m. of a hit and run on Whitebirch Drive near the beach.
TRAFFIC ARREST: Report on July 5 at 10:37 p.m. of a vehicle stopped with no license plate illumination and speed. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, open bottle possession and possession of marijuana.
Report on July 5 at 3:47 a.m. of an intoxicated male who took a friend’s vehicle and was driving home. The man was arrested for third-degree driving while impaired.
INDECENT CONDUCT: Report on July 5 at 1:55 a.m. of indecent conduct at the pool of the campground. Subjects were removed from the pool and warned for their conduct.
FIREWORKS: Report on July 5 at 12:21 a.m. of fireworks being set off on Breezy Point City Beach. The illegal fireworks were seized and the subjects were warned.
Report on July 4 at 10:17 p.m of a man injured by a firework on County Road 3 in Merrifield.
PROPERTY DAMAGE CRASH: Report on July 7 at 12:22 a.m. of a vehicle that backed into a shuttle bus. The driver was arrested and booked for driving while impaired.
Report on July 4 at 8:19 p.m. of a shuttle bus that backed into a parked vehicle, causing minor damage. Owner and driver information was exchanged and photos were taken.
LOST PROPERTY: Report on July 6 of a lost cell phone that was tracked to a house near Ace Hardware in Breezy Point. While officer was en route, the reporting party said he found the phone under his seat.
INFORMATION: Report on July 6 at 12:14 p.m. from a landlord who was reclaiming a home. The landlord found a hat inside with stickers with a marijuana symbol on them. Tape was also located inside the garage on the ceiling and they felt the renter may have been growing marijuana. No paraphernalia or substances were found on the property.
MISC: Report on July 3 at 2:06 a.m. of a bicycle stopped for no headlight. The juvenile male was cited for minor consumption and possession of a vape device.
BURGLARY: Report on July 3 at 2:27 p.m. of a forced entry burglary on Acorn Ridge Lane in Merrifield.
Report on July 3 at 11:47 a.m. of a shed that was broken into and a leaf blower stolen on Silver Sands Road in Jenkins.
Nisswa Police Department
FIRE: Report on July 1 at 1:49 a.m. of a structure fire in Pelican Township. Owner kept going back into building looking for three dogs inside. Officers assisted in getting two dogs out. Pequot Lakes Fire Department got the third dog out. All were unharmed.
TRAFFIC ARREST: Report on July 1 at 11:14 p.m. of a vehicle pulled over for cracked windshield. A passenger was arrested for a warrant and possession of methamphetamines.
Report on July 4 at 6:24 of a female arrested for driving with an alcohol restriction and warrant.
Report on July 6 at 1:28 p.m. of a driver arrested for driving after revocation and without insurance between Olson Road and Lower Cullen Road. Two adult male passengers were arrested for warrants.
FIREWORKS: Report on July 5 at 9:57 p.m. of fireworks on Pine Street.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: Report on July 3, 10:28 of a call stating that a neighbor on Cove Trail had been putting food out for neighborhood dogs. Complainant thought food may be poisoned as the neighbor might not like the dogs. Officers checked the food, which appeared to be safe.
Report on July 4 at 2:50 a.m. of an incident in which a driver on Church Street claimed a short, stocky man with short brown hair jumped in front of his vehicle in the middle of the road while a second man, tall and lanky with light colored hair, stepped on his running board and reached into the vehicle to unlock the door. The complainant drove away. Both men were estimated to be in their mid-30s.
