The Crow Wing County Land Services Department's Household Hazardous Waste Program will hold its final organized collection event for contractors and businesses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Crow Wing County Landfill.
The Household Hazardous Waste Program has been expanded to accept architectural latex paint from contractors and businesses.
During the winter months (November through April), household hazardous waste will only be taken for emergency situations - for example, residents who are moving or an estate that must dispose of hazardous materials and cannot wait until May 2019.
