Conservationist to speak to Fifty Lakes Foundation on Aug. 15

David Zentner, a conservationist, environmentalist and outdoorsman, will speak at the Fifty Lakes Foundation meeting at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the foundation clubhouse.

David Zentner, a conservationist, environmentalist and outdoorsman, will speak at the Fifty Lakes Foundation meeting at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at the foundation clubhouse.

Zentner is the past national president of the Izaak Walton League of America. He will speak on the Minnesota Environmental Fund, the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, and the Dedicated Fund Working Group implementing this amendment.

The Fifty Lakes Foundation clubhouse is at 40554 South Eagle Lake Road (northeast corner of the Crow Wing County Roads 1 and 3 intersection in Fifty Lakes). A potluck dinner will be at 6 p.m.
