Church of the Cross hosts World Day of Prayer

Members of seven area churches celebrated in the World Day of Prayer at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa on Friday, March 6, with a Caribbean flare. With the highlighted country being the Bahamas this year, members proceeded down the aisle of the church holding the the flag of the Bahamas and playing Caribbean instruments as they sang. Following a special Day of Prayer service, the congregation enjoyed an authentic Caribbean cuisine, composed of various fruits and seafood.
