Member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa celebrated the World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 6, with a Caribbean flare. With the highlighted country being the Bahamas this year, members proceeded down the aisle of the church holding the the flag of the Bahamas and playing Caribbean instruments as they sang. Following a special Day of Prayer service, the congregation enjoyed an authentic Caribbean cuisine, composed of various fruits and seafood.Photo by Dan Determan
