Following are election results for Cass and Crow Wing county townships in the Echo Journal coverage area, which inadvertently weren’t published after the Nov. 3 general election. Results are from the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website.

Area Cass County townships

  • Barclay: Town supervisor seat 2, Clarence Sears, 244 votes (98.79%), three write-ins (1.21%); town supervisor seat 3, Bruce Digiovanni, 238 votes (98.35%), four write-ins (1.65%); town treasurer, Brenda Hamilton, 244 votes (98.79%), three write-ins (1.21%).

  • Birch Lake: Town supervisor seat 1, Erik Jacobson, 331 votes (97.35%), nine write-ins (2.65%).

  • Bull Moose: Town supervisor seat 2, D.J. Downie, 66 votes (98.51%), one write-in (1.49%); town supervisor seat 3, Derek Ward, 67 votes (98.53%), one write-in (1.47%); town clerk, Grace Salie, 66 votes (98.51%), one write-in (1.49%).

  • Bungo: Town supervisor seat 1, Larry Peterson, 33 votes (36.67%), Bill Thomas, 57 votes (63.33%); town clerk, Linda Neumann, 70 votes (94.59%), four write-ins (5.41%).

  • Deerfield: Town supervisor seat 1, Dennis Kriens, 61 votes (96.83%), two write-ins (3.17%); town supervisor seat 2, Cleo Bach, 60 votes (100%); town treasurer, Bonnie Van Buren, 63 votes (100%).

  • Fairview: Town supervisor seat 2, Jim Weizenegger, 525 votes (99.81%), one write-in (0.19%);

  • Hiram: Town supervisor seat 1, David Morris, 193 votes (98.48%), one write-in (0.52%); supervisor seat 2, James McGill, 201 votes (98.05%), four write-ins (1.95%); town clerk, write-ins, 18.

  • Homebrook: Town supervisor seat 1, Terry Stumvoll, 126 votes (84.56%), 23 write-ins (15.44%); town clerk, Ardell Schultz, 142 votes (97.93%), three write-ins (2.07%); special election for town treasurer, Jill Frieler, 141 votes (99.30%), one write-in (0.70%).

  • Loon Lake: Town supervisor seat 1, Rick Wilson, 283 votes (97.59%), seven write-ins (2.41%); town supervisor seat 2, Paul A. Gravdahl, 163 votes (47.11%), Kurtis G. Moody, 183 votes (52.89%); town clerk, Timothy Murphy, 286 votes (98.62%), four write-ins (1.38%).

  • Maple: Town supervisor seat 1, Mariann Guentzel, 93 votes (42.08%), Robert McNerney, 127 votes (57.47%), one write-in (0.45%); supervisor seat 2, Larry Birge, 79 votes (34.96%), Curtis Hoefs, 145 votes (64.16%), two write-ins (0.88%); town clerk, Kathleen Stephan, 185 votes (90.69%), 19 write-ins (9.31%).

  • Pine River: Town supervisor seat 2, Bill Fitch, 328 votes (54.49%), David Smith, 272 votes (45.18%), two write-ins (0.33%); town supervisor seat 3, Devon Dabill, 382 votes (64.75%), Kerry Krumwiede, 205 votes (34.75%), three write-ins (0.51%); town treasurer, Karen Bresnahan, 528 votes (99.25%), four write-ins (0.75%).

  • Ponto Lake: Town supervisor seat 1, Michael Prososki, 348 votes (98.86%), four write-ins (1.14%); town supervisor seat 2, Glen Hockett, 158 votes (42.13%), Jon Lacho, 217 votes (57.87%); town treasurer, Nan L. Ladehoff, 325 votes (99.09%), three write-ins (0.91%).

  • Powers: Town supervisor seat 1, William (Bill) Taylor, 398 votes (96.14%), 16 write-ins (3.86%); town supervisor seat 3, Leslie Kunde, 168 votes (36.76%), Tim Drinka, 89 votes (19.47%), Kory Crawford, 199 votes (43.54%), one write-in (0.22%).

  • Walden: Town supervisor seat 1, Joel Erickson, 205 votes (97.16%), six write-ins (2.84%); town supervisor seat 3, Michael Austad, 202 votes (97.58%), five write-ins (2.42%); special election for town clerk, write-in; town treasurer, Susan Austad, 197 votes (97.52%), five write-ins (2.48%).

Township question: Shall option B, providing for the appointment of the clerk and treasurer by the town board, be adopted for the government of the town? Yes, 141 votes (68.12%); no, 66 votes (31.88%).

  • Wilson: Township supervisor seat 1, Marlin Torkelson, 284 votes (98.95%), three write-ins (1.05%); town supervisor seat 4, Charles Swenson, 186 votes (60.39%), Gregory Witt, 120 votes (38.96%), two write-ins (0.65%); town supervisor seat 5, Mark Buchite, 274 votes (97.86%), six write-ins (2.14%); town clerk, Sherry Smith, 267 votes (98.89%), three write-ins (1.11%).

Area Crow Wing County Townships

  • Gail Lake: Special election for town supervisor seat 1, William (Bill) Johnson, 46 votes (100%); town clerk, Carol Johnson, 45 votes (100%).

  • Jenkins: Town supervisor seat 2, Michael Dubay, 217 votes (100%); town supervisor seat 3, Steven Lindsay Cox, 212 votes (99.53%), one write-in (0.47%); town treasurer, Steven Lindsay Cox, 212 votes (99.53%), one write-in (0.47%); town treasurer, Cheryl Stuckmayer, 219 votes (100%).

  • Lake Edward: Town supervisor seat A, George R. Burnard, 1,081 votes (98.45%), 17 write-ins (1.55%); town treasurer, Donna M. Nedved, 1,070 votes (99.17%), nine write-ins (0.83%).

  • Little Pine: Town supervisor seat A, David Kauphusman, 44 votes (100%); town clerk, Abra Hawley, 43 votes (100%).

  • Mission: Town supervisor seat A, Jim Roach, 451 votes (92.80%), 35 write-ins (7.20%); special election for town supervisor seat B, Bob Steele, 285 votes (55.13%), Dave Hauser, 230 votes (44.49%), two write-ins (0.39%); town clerk, Anna Anderson, 477 votes (99.58%), two write-ins (0.42%).

  • Pelican Lake: Town supervisor seat A, David S. Johnson, 293 votes (99.32%), two write-ins (0.68%); town supervisor seat C, Edwin Evenson, 292 votes (99.66%), one write-in (0.34%); special election for town clerk, Janice Ellingson, 299 votes (100%); town treasurer, Sharon Nelson, 289 votes (99.66%), one write-in (0.34%).

  • Perry Lake: Town supervisor seat 2, write-in; town supervisor seat 3, write-in.

  • Ross Lake: Town supervisor seat 2, Dan A. Newman, 77 votes (63.64%), Mark Caspers, 42 votes (34.71%), two write-ins (1.65%); town clerk, write-in.

  • Timothy: Town supervisor seat A, Gary Raph, 90 votes (98.90%), one write-in (1.10%); town supervisor seat B, Charles Bryant, 80 votes (100%); special election for town clerk, write-in; town treasurer, Beth Peterson, 84 votes (98.82%), one write-in (1.18%).

  • Wolford: Town supervisor seat B, Daniel LaPierre, 180 votes (96.77%), six write-ins (3.23%); town supervisor seat C, Donald Nyvold, 178 votes (97.80%), four write-ins (2.20%); town treasurer, Nancy Nyvold, 180 votes (98.36%), three write-ins (1.64%).
