The Breezy Point Area Women's Club will host its annual bake sale from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Pelican Lake Conservation Club (PLCC).

In accordance with its mission statement to operate as a charitable and social organization, this is a major fundraiser that enables the women's club to provide two scholarships each year to selected non-traditional female students at Central Lakes College in Brainerd.

The women's club also provides monetary support to several other community oriented projects and/or organizations throughout the year. The public's support is important and appreciated.

The bake sale is held in conjunction with the PLCC's pancake breakfast. The club is three-quarters of a mile south of the Breezy Point Resort gate on County Road 4. Watch for the sign on the west side of the road.
