Matthew Anderson, executive director of Audubon Minnesota, will present Birds and Climate Change at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd.
Anderson will talk about the threats climate change poses to Minnesota's avian community. This work is based on extensive scientific analysis of current bird distributions and compares those ranges with projected climate changes. The list of birds at risk should indicate a call for action.
This program is sponsored by the Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society and is free and open to everyone. Refreshments will be provided.
