A Beginner Knitting class will meet from 7-8 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Pequot Lakes High School.

Learn the basic stitches of knitting and create a scarf. Participants must bring two skeins medium weight yarn (example: Red Heart Classic; it's easy to work with), size 7 knitting needles (straight needles, pointed on one end), scissors and a bag to hold all supplies.

Class cost is $10. To register, call Pequot Lakes Community Education at 218-568-9200.
