Backus American Legion winter activities will again include cribbage and 500 cards.
Cribbage will be played at 1 p.m. Sundays beginning Jan. 8 and running through Feb. 12. The entry fee is $5, and 100 percent of the fee is paid back in prizes. Six games are played each week. Entrants can play some or all of the weeks.
The schedule for Sunday 500 cards with similar rules runs from 1 p.m. Feb. 26 through April 2, with the exception of Easter Sunday.
