More adult programs are being offered at the Pine River Public Library.

Wednesday, March 4, at 5:30 p.m. is our harbinger of spring program. What, you may ask, does that mean?

Joel Karsten, author of "Straw Bale Gardens," will visit us through the Minnesota Legacy program to get us ready to grow food in our yards the easy way.

I can't really participate, but I can certainly watch and keep birds and little rat guys out of your straw bales.

Come to the library and learn.

This is another Free Legacy program brought to us by the Clean Water Land & Legacy Amendment.

The story times for the month of March are being sponsored by Doug Taylor of Action Entertainment. If you would like to be a sponsor, call the library for more information.
