Several public health clinics will be held in August in Cass County. Most clinics in Pine River take place at the Pine River Family Center and most in Walker will be located at Cass County Health, Human & Veteran Services, unless otherwise noted.
Walk-in immunization clinics will take place 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 in Pine River, and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 in Walker.
Child and teen checkup clinics will be Friday, Aug. 8 in Walker and Thursday, Aug. 21 in Pine River. For appointments in Pine River, call 218-587-4292, or in Walker call 218-547-1340.
WIC nutrition programs in Pine River will be 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7. In Walker, the program will be 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11 and 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26. A family health nurse will be available to answer questions about pregnancy and childbirth and for pregnancy testing.
Family planning clinics will take place in Pine River Aug. 5 and in Walker Aug. 27. The Walker clinic will be held at the Essentia Clinic. Call 218-547-1340 to make an appointment in either location.

Senior health clinics will be offered 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12 at the Hackensack Senior Center; 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the Lake May Center in Walker; and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at The Warehouse in Pine River. Foot care will be offered for $25. Please bring your own towel and basin.
