An Alexandria, Minn., couple died in a rollover north in Kansas on Thursday.
The victims were Kay Dianne Pautz, 69, the driver, and her passenger, Gary Walter Pautz, 70.
The accident happened at 3:55 p.m. north of McPherson, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Pamela Pierce, 56, of Hutchinson, Kan.,was driving a Nissan Rogue and cut in front of the Pautzes’ Ford Expedition while attempting to pass it, according to the patrol.
The Expedition hit the rear of the Rogue and swerved out of control, rolling across the median and into the ditch.

The Pautzes, who were both wearing seatbelts, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Pierce was listed as having a possible injury, according to the patrol.
