NIMROD -- A 50-year-old Two Harbors woman was injured Sept. 1 at the annual Mud Run north of Nimrod.

The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office was called at 2:35 p.m. to the Mud Run for a report of a woman, Pamela Coolidge, who was hit by one of the Mud Run vehicles in the pit area of the event. Coolidge's family was participating in the event.

A North Memorial Air Care helicopter was called to transport the patient. The sheriff’s office had no information on the woman’s condition or which hospital she was transported to for care.

The Sebeka Fire and Rescue and Tri-County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
