BAXTER-A 19-year-old man was hospitalized Monday, June 10, when his semitrailer load of scrap steel shifted and went through the cab while he was driving on Cypress Drive and Highway 210 in Baxter.

The Baxter Police Department reported the driver, James Strese of Evansville, was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol impounded the semitrailer and will be doing an inspection following the crash reported at 8:28 a.m.
