Pickup truck flips, injuring Pillager teen

PILLAGER—Emergency responders extricated a 17-year-old Pillager boy from a flipped pickup truck Wednesday, Aug. 29, after he crashed in Pillager.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office reported the crash occurred at 5:18 p.m. on 11th Avenue Southwest, also known as Cass County Highway 36. Responders found the truck on its roof. The teen, who was driving the truck when it crashed and suffered injury, was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

The Pillager Police Department and Pillager Fire Department assisted at the scene.
