The Crow Wing County Highway Department entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for centerline culvert replacement and bituminous surfacing on County Road 148.

Culvert replacement work will begin Thursday, May 16, and take about a week to complete. Mainline paving will begin at the end of May or early June. Once started, paving and shouldering operations will take about one week to complete.

Traffic in the area will be controlled with signals, flaggers and a pilot car. The county told motorists to expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone.
