Crosslake Cares, a local nonprofit focused on supporting the power of aging, invites area residents to the first Power of Aging Expo: The Best is Yet to Come from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27, at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church (The Log Church).

The event will feature more than 35 exhibitors showcasing services and opportunities for Crosslake area seniors, and food vendors providing a Taste of Greater Crosslake.

Mini talks include:

• Will Phillips, Minnesota State Director of AARP, discussing the valuable and outsized contributions the 50+ community brings to the country, state and area.

• Carla White, National Loon Center, with the latest on the National Loon Center.

• Todd Lyscio, executive director, Crosslake Community School, with what the community school says.

• Gail Smith and Steve Kappes discussing Medication Mayhem.

Featured keynote is Mark Rosen, recently retired WCCO sportscaster.
