A total of $45,465 was raised for new Emergency Department heart monitors at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's Summer Soiree held recently in Crosby.
More than 160 people attended the event that featured entertainment by Las Vegas performer Barry Cunningham, a silent auction, boat drinks and tropical hors d'oeuvres.
Last year's Summer Soiree raised $18,000 to help purchase a new ambulance for the community.
