Summer intern needed for Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District
A summer apprenticeship for young adults (age 18-25) is available at the Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) through Conservation Corps Minnesota (CCM).
According to Darren Mayers, CCM project manager, "This is a great opportunity for young adults to get hands on experience alongside natural resource professionals. This is the fourth year the SWCD has hosted the program. The apprentice will assist with shoreline and runoff projects, help maintain and inspect past runoff projects, and much more."
Apprentices will serve as AmeriCorps members and will receive a monthly living stipend of $1,235 and an education award of $1,493 to use towards qualifying education and student loan expenses. The member will serve from May 18 through August 14, 2015.
