Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard reports that on Sunday, Nov. 21, at approximately 9:26 a.m., the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of County Road 3 and County Road 127 in Lake Edward Township.
Upon arrival, deputies found that a 2007 Ford Explorer, driven by Arlene Thompson, age 74 of Brainerd, was traveling eastbound on County Road 127. A 2004 Lexus 330, driven by Emily Dallman, age 22 of Baxter, was traveling northbound on County Road 3.
Dallman was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Thompson sustained minor injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Nisswa Fire Department, Breezy Point Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance Service, Minnesota DNR, and the Minnesota State Patrol.
