Heartland Apartments in Pine River will be the location of the Lutheran Social Services healthy meal distribution event from noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4.
Any senior age 60 or older in need of nutrition can receive meals in bundles of 10 at each popup event on a first come, first served basis. A quick, easy form will need to be filled out to claim a meal with assistance of an LSS volunteer or worker.
The meals are produced at a local LSS kitchen and are individually sealed and portioned with a balance of proteins, carbohydrates and spices to taste great.
Meals will be provided using proper use of masks and gloves and following social distancing guidelines.
