A special screening mammogram party will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's Women's Imaging Center in Crosby as part of the national breast cancer awareness campaign.
Getting screened is a key component to catching and treating breast cancer as early as possible, and CRMC wants to make the experience as enjoyable as possible.
At the event, women can get their annual screening mammogram while enjoying the company of other ladies, free chair massages, mini manicures, appetizers and beverages. They will receive a gift bag.
“Because early detection is critical to long-term breast health, we want to make your personal experience an event to look forward to,” said Melinda Jackson, breast imaging manager. “CRMC offers the latest technology that searches for all primary signs of breast cancer to ensure your peace of mind."
