The 25th annual Grace United Methodist Church rummage sale, normally held the last weekend in June at the Pequot Lakes church, has been postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over the years the sale has provided the community with a huge variety of clothing, household goods and furniture at bargain prices.
Grace UMC's plan is to look forward to a time later in the year for this sale. Watch this newspaper and check the church website for more information. Social distancing will need to be lifted before the church can plan this annual event.

Nancy Vogt is editor of the Pineandlakes Echo Journal, a weekly newspaper that covers eight communities in the Pequot Lakes-Pine River areas - from Nisswa to Hackensack and Pequot Lakes to Crosslake.
She started as editor of the Lake Country Echo in July 2006, and continued in that role when the Lake Country Echo and the Pine River Journal combined in September 2013 to become the Pineandlakes Echo Journal. She worked for the Brainerd Dispatch from 1992-2006 in various roles.
