Emily United Methodist Church, located one block east of the intersection of Minnesota Highway 6 and County Road 1 in Emily, will host a free community picnic for area residents and visitors at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, in the church's backyard.
The Jumpin' Jehosafats will perform a concert at 6 p.m. A free will donation will be taken with proceeds to support area missions.
The Jumpin’ Jehosafats plays a mix of Dixieland, gospel and jazz music. Bring a blanket or chair. In case of rain, the picnic and concert will move inside.
