On Saturday, June 28, Julie Kramer, author of a series of mysteries starring television reporter Riley Spartz, including "Stalking Susan," "Missing Mark" and "Silencing Sam," will be at Turtle Town Books and Gifts in Nisswa to sign copies of her newest book, "Delivering Death."

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kramer is a former investigative journalist for WCCO-TV and a freelance producer for CBS and NBC. She lives in White Bear Lake with her family.

In Kramer's latest, "Delivering Death," Spartz receives a package of human teeth in her mail at work and is quickly embroiled in a homicide investigation that spirals into one of the odder cases the Minneapolis police force has ever seen.

According to a review in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, "Prose and pacing reflect her insider's knowledge of TV news and the needs of an audience. Like the others in this series, this is a lively mystery with snappy dialogue and a plot punctuated with enough twists to keep you tuned in until the credits roll."
