Tickets are on sale for the Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota's (LCGM) 13th annual "Autumn in New York" event scheduled Saturday, Oct. 10, at Madden's Town Hall.

This semi-formal annual event includes cocktails, a silent auction, a four-course gourmet dinner and live entertainment throughout the meal presented by Legacy Chorale members. The silent auction has a variety of items, including golfing, resort experiences, handcrafted items, household décor and more.

This social celebration of LCGM offers supporters the opportunity to continue to help make choral music functions a vital part of the greater lakes area for all ages.

The Madden's menu, presented by Chef Bob Schuld, includes appetizers of wild mushroom potato cakes with broiled shrimp and apple balsamic gastrique; Minnesota salad with kale, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, chicory, radicchio, roasted pumpkin seeds, craisins, wild rice and poppy seed dressing; entrée of seared pork tenderloin, apple chutney, fig balsamic, Farro risotto and honey ginger rainbow carrots; dessert of caramel apple cheesecake with cinnamon vanilla sauce.

Entertainment will feature popular selections from musical theatre and vocal standards, and a few favorites from the grand opera repertoire. The show will open with guest artist Pete Pellinen (Virginia, Minn.), the chorale's Cathy Taylor and the entire ensemble singing the famous chorus, "Libiamo le nieti" (also known as the "Drinking Chorus") from "La Traviata," one of Giuseppe Verdi's most well-known operas. Throughout the show, listeners will hear Broadway tunes and vocal standards.
