Storyteller and historian Alan Bohme will give a presentation on the Roaring '20s from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Pequot Lakes High School.
The presentation is set to authentic music from the '20s taped from old shellac 78 rpm records. There are photographs of many celebrities, including athletes, movie stars, gangsters, politicians and others.
The Volstead Act, which enforced Prohibition, was named after a Congressman from Minnesota. Many stories discussed were told to the instructor by the actual people involved or their children.
Fee is $5, and a minimum of five is required to hold class.
