Pine River Summerfest will run Friday-Sunday, June 27-29. Following is a schedule of events.

June 26-28

10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Pine River Art Club Show at The Warehouse, free.

Friday, June 27

Daily: Sidewalk sales.

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Arts and Crafts Displays, downtown.

9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Rhubarb Fest at the shopping block.

10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Pine River Library huge book sale at the house across the street from the Pine River Library.

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Pine River Good Samaritan 20th anniversary of Riverside Apartments. Free picnic lunch and music by the river.

1:30 p.m.: Duck Races at the dam.

2 p.m.: Kid's Inflatable Amusements at the park.

2:30-5:30 p.m.: Pine River Growers Market; music on the street by Jan's DJ Service.

7 p.m.: Prairie Fire Children's Theatre's "Jack and the Beanstalk" in the Pine River-Backus (PR-B) High School Performance Gym.

Saturday, June 28

All day: Arts/crafts displays and food uptown; food at the dam; music on the street by Jan's DJ Service.

8 a.m.: Summerfest Softball Tournament at the fields east of Pine River on County Road 1.

8 a.m.-noon: Annual Classic Car Show and Tractor Show, Pine River State Bank.

9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Pine River Weekly Flea Market.

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Rhubarb Fest at the shopping block.

10 a.m.: Prairie Fire Children's Theatre's "Jack and the Beanstalk" in the PR-B High School Performance Gym.

10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Pine River Library huge book sale at the house across the street from the Pine River Library.

11 a.m.: United Methodist Church "Walk'n Tacos" in front of the church.

11 a.m.: Pony rides at the park.

11 a.m.: Kid's Inflatable Amusements at the park.

11 a.m.-2 p.m.: Pine River Fire Department open house.

11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Tim and Cindy Trio with Randy Olson, bluegrass at the Lions Shelter House above the dam, free.

11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: Food Fair at the Lions Shelter House.

11:45 a.m.: Pine River Beach Improvement Project celebration at the new swimming beach near the Lions Shelter House.

Noon & 3:30 p.m.: Brian Richards Magic Show below the dam, free.

12:30 p.m.: Parade lineup in the PR-B School parking lot.

2 p.m.: Parade begins on Barclay Avenue.

Sunday, June 29

8:30 a.m.: Summerfest Softball Tournament finals on fields east of Pine River on County Road 2.

9-10 a.m.: Summerfest 5K Fun Run at the Pine River Information Center; Baby Ox Kid's Run to follow; registration begins at 8 a.m.

10 a.m.-2 p.m.: Pine River Library huge book sale with $2 per bag day at the house across the street from the Pine River Library.

7 a.m.-noon: Pine River Lions Pancake Breakfast at Cass County Fairgrounds.
