The Northwoods Arts Council held the first in its series of Lakeside Concerts on Friday, June 18, in Hackensack, when Wayne and the Boys played to the audience gathered at the Hackensack Park pavilion on Birch Lake.
NAC encourages picnicking in the park and ordering takeout from local restaurants as the concert series continues through summer. Most concerts are from 5-7 p.m. Fridays, with the exception of a Saturday, July 10, concert and the final concert from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4.
From 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 25, NAC will host One Night Stand, a six-member band. Find the schedule of bands online at northwoodsartscouncil.org.
