The Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota will host its virtual spring concert at 7 p.m. Friday, April 23.
Entitled “Our Flight Begins As Song,” the event will be presented on YouTube through a hybrid-streaming format. Along with select prerecorded chorale performances from the past 19 seasons, viewers will also see the chorale in two virtual videos that are currently being produced and watch them sing live from the Franklin Arts Center Auditorium in Brainerd.
Also featured will be photos of artwork created by chorale members superimposed over the audio of several songs; many of the images correlate with the lyrics of each piece. Member-created artwork includes paintings, drawings, photography, Ukrainian eggs and handmade items.
