The Lakes Area Music Festival prelude concert series continues this weekend with performances at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Crosslake Lutheran Church, 35960 County Road 66; 3 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Salem Lutheran Church, 21276 Archibald Road in Deerwood; and at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 5064 County Road 13 in Nisswa.
Pianist Mary Jo Gothmann, baritone Rodolfo Nieto and festival director Scott Lykins, along with violinist Jeremy Rhizor, will perform. Gershwin's "Summertime" will be on the program, as will works by Schubert, Vivaldi, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky.
