Jumpin' Jehosafats to perform outdoor jazz program Aug. 26 at Pine River church

Free root beer floats and hotdogs will be served.

Pine River United Methodist Church will host the Jumpin' Jehosafats at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, outside the church on Third Street.

The Jumpin' Jehosafats blend gospel and traditional jazz while raising money for missions. There will be a free will offering with proceeds going to the Tigers Den food shelf for Pine River-Backus School's K-12th grade students.

There will be free root beer floats, hotdogs and chips as long as supplies last.

Those who attend should bring their own lawn chairs. If it rains, the concert will be moved into the sanctuary.
