The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District recently announced the winners of its eighth annual photography contest.
Photographers of all ages and abilities were invited to submit their photos for the 2020 Native Plant and Tree Photo Contest.
Jennifer Quam placed first with her photo of a bee balm with a hummingbird and will receive a 20-by-16-inch canvas of her photo. Quam also placed second with her photo of echinacea and will receive an 11-by-17-inch canvas with the photo on it.
Placing third was Ashley Marx with a photo of hepatica, winning an 8-by-10-inch canvas with that photo.
All the contest entries can be found on the district’s Facebook page, website and potentially other educational or promotional items for the district.
