An evening of German song performed by Lakes Area Music Festival founders John Taylor Ward and Scott Lykins will be featured at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa.
Ward, baritone, and pianist Lykins will present two pillars of the song cycle repertoire: Ludwig van Beethoven's An die ferne Geliebte (To the Distant Beloved) and Franz Schubert's Schwanengesang (Swan Song).
The event is free and open to the public. The concert will also take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the University Club of St. Paul and at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Walker Bay Theater in Walker.
