CLC Community Band to start rehearsals, seeks members

The Central Lakes College Community Band will start rehearsals at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in E471, the rehearsal hall at the CLC Brainerd Campus. Area musicians are invited.

The Central Lakes College Community Band will start rehearsals at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, in E471, the rehearsal hall at the CLC Brainerd Campus. Area musicians are invited.

Band membership is open to woodwind, brass and percussion players from high school juniors and older. Rehearsals are from 7-9 p.m. Mondays with a fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Chalberg Theatre at CLC in Brainerd.

The CLC Community Band is starting its 24th year. This summer the band traveled to Ireland and performed four concerts at the Blarney Castle, King John's Castle, St. Nicholas Church in Galway and the Malahide Castle in Dublin.
