The Central Lakes Community Performing Arts Center will present Divas Through the Decades at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the outdoor stage on the south lawn of Central Lakes College’s Brainerd campus.
This is the second of four concerts that make up the Minnesota Home Grown Concert Series.
Divas Through the Decades is composed of Alyssa Cassada, Lisa Marie Furth and Lisa Pallen. Together they grace the stage in a musical tribute to some of the most influential female vocalists in American pop music. From the boogie woogie music of the Andrews Sisters onward in time, the show features music made famous by various divas, including Tina Turner, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Estefan, Madonna, Beyonce, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and many more.
The center’s director, Patrick Spradlin, called this an exceptionally fun evening of music and dance.
“This group brings so much energy to the stage, and performs music that cuts across all generations. There is clearly something for everyone, regardless of age and familiarity with music trends," Spradlin said in a news release.

The Divas stage show is filled with electrifying vocals, cutting edge choreography, great costume changes and a high energy performance, Spradlin said.
“We wanted a group that would be both artistic and wildly entertaining. We got all that when we booked the Divas," he said.
The group has performed all over the country, including several state and county fairs, festivals, corporate and private events, cruise ships, as well as performing on NBC's "America's Got Talent.” Their blend of great music, singing and dancing combined with comedy and lots of audience interaction have made them crowd favorites wherever they’ve performed.
Tickets for Divas Through the Decades are available only on the night of performance. Ticket sales are limited to 400 audience members and will be sold on a cash/check basis only.
