The Cass County Fair opens Thursday, June 26, at the fairgrounds in Pine River, and runs through Sunday, June 29. Following is a schedule of events:

Thursday, June 26: Agricultural Day

7-9 a.m.: Livestock final check-in and last time to register Open Class livestock.

8 a.m.-noon: Open Class exhibit judging.

8 a.m.-noon: Setup for commercial booths/exhibits.

Noon: Exhibit and commercial buildings open.

Noon: 4-H Goat Show (barns).

Daily: Grandma's Place, free kids' projects.

2-3 p.m.: 4-H public demonstrations.

4 p.m.: Carnival rides open.

4 p.m.: 4-H Rabbit Show (barns).

4 p.m.-midnight: Beer gardens open.

5 p.m.: Iron Chef Cook-off, Don Smith Building.

6 p.m.: Bike giveaway drawing.

6-10 p.m.: Midway armband hours ($20 in advance, $25 at fair).

7 p.m.: Pig races, family grandstand event.

9 p.m.: Exhibit and commercial buildings close.

Friday June 27: Senior Day

Daily: Grandma's Place, free kids' projects.

10 a.m.: General Livestock show (swine, sheep, beef and dairy).

11 a.m.: Exhibit and commercial buildings open.

11 a.m.: Carnival rides open.

11 a.m.-7 p.m.: Tiny Hands Farm Tours (50 cents at the barn).

Noon-6 p.m.: Tractor display.

1 p.m.: Cass County Senior Citizen Recognition & Awards.

1 p.m.: Pre-registration deadline for Talent Show.

1-3 p.m.: Senior Band Frank & Fran, Don Smith Arena.

1-5 p.m.: Midway armband hours ($20 in advance, $25 at fair).

3:30 p.m.: Animal Hippology Contest.

4 p.m.-midnight: Beer gardens open.

5 p.m.: 4-H Pet Show (Cloverbuds, pet, cats).

5:30 p.m.: Talent Contest, open to all amateurs.

6 p.m.: Truck & Tractor Pull registration begins.

6 p.m.: Bike giveaway drawing.

7 p.m.: Truck & Tractor Pull family grandstand event.

8 p.m.-midnight: Karaoke by Sideways Entertainment.

Saturday June 28: Kids Day

9-11 a.m.: Community Breakfast (farmer prices)

9 a.m.: 4-H poultry judging.

10 a.m.: Open Class horse show, arena.

10 a.m.: Exhibit and commercial buildings open.

11 a.m.: Carnival rides open.

1 p.m.: Leech Lake Drum & Dance Performance.

2:30 p.m.: 4-H Animal Science Awards.

3 p.m.: Leech Lake Drum & Dance Performance.

3:30 p.m.: 4-H potluck.

4 p.m.: 4-H Non-Animal Project Awards Ceremony.

6 p.m.: Bike giveaway drawing.
