Auditions for John Patrick's "The Curious Savage" will be held 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 and Tuesday, Aug. 12 in the Pine River-Backus (PR-B) high school choir room.
This comedy is centered around Ethel P. Savage, a woman whose husband recently died and left her approximately ten million dollars. Currently, she is living at "The Cloisters," a local sanitarium full of fun, lovable characters. Throw in a couple money-hungry stepchildren and loads of laughs and even a few tears await.
Roles for six women and five men, ages 16-70, are available. Alternate private audition times may be set up if you cannot make the scheduled date.
Rehearsals will be held 6-8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning August 18.
Performances will be held 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 and 10 and 2 p.m. on Oct. 11.
