The Echo Journal welcomes letters to the editor from readers to share their opinions about published stories and current issues. Letters are limited to 300 words.

Letter writers must include their full name and city of residence, as well as a phone number for possible verification only.

Letters airing a personal complaint with a private enterprise or letters containing personal attacks will not be published.
