The Cemetery Board of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association wishes to make available to its members and the Christian community all lots which are not used or not intended to be used by their owners, Minnesota law provides the following procedure in this circumstance.
Whereas Minnesota Statutes 306-242 provides a procedure by which the Cemetery Board may regain title to lots after 60 years of unused and where no evidence of intended future use is shown by original owner.
Therefore be it resolved that the heirs of the following original owners have not used the plots for more than 60 years.
Claud Gardiner Block B Lot 53 Plots 2,3 and 4
Phillip Sidel Block A Lot 56 Plot 3
Al Brecht Block A Lot between 53 and 54 Plots 1 and 3
Leo Norwood Block A Lot 37 Plots 3 and 4
Charles Hall Block A Lot 51 Plots 3 and 4
Issac Gott Block A Lot 27 Plots 2, 3 and 4
Frank Hagen Block A Lot 40 Plot 1
R.A. Quade Block A Lot 41 Plot 4

Be it further resolved that you have 60 days from the date of this publication to express an interest in retaining the cemetery lots and must have submitted satisfactory evidence of an intention to use the lots for future burials.
Be it known that if after 60 days of public notice of this resolution the owner or person with a legal interest in the cemetery lots fails to state a valid interest for burial purposes, the owner's rights are terminated and that part of the cemetery again belongs to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association. This resolution was approved unanimously by the board of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association, Pequot Lakes, MN June 18, 2020
