Commissioner Brekken offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CROW WING COUNTY
SHORT-TERM RENTAL
LICENSING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, in accordance with Minnesota Statute 375.51, a Public Hearing was held on December 31, 2019 to consider approval of a Short-Term Rental Licensing Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the designated authority for authorizing this ordinance shall be the Land Services Department, and
WHEREAS, the effective date of this ordinance shall be set as January 1, 2021, and
WHEREAS, the licensing fee will be as follows and approved with the 2021 Fee Schedule in December:
$200 – 2 bedroom or less
$300 – 3-4 bedroom
$400 – 5-6 bedroom
$500 – 6+ bedroom
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Board of Commissioners of Crow Wing County, Minnesota, adopts the attached Crow Wing County Short-Term Rental Licensing Ordinance (2002), effective January 1, 2021.
Resolution seconded by Commissioner Houge, all aye, except Commissioners Koering and Franzen voted nay. Resolution declared adopted.
