NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ENACTING A MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT
NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENACT AN INTERIM ZONING
ORDINANCE DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT
The Crow Wing County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 375.51, at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, in the County Board Room, 3rd Floor, Historic Courthouse, Brainerd, MN.
The purpose of the public hearing is to take public testimony on whether to enact an interim zoning ordinance which would limit certain development in Crow Wing County. A summary of the proposed ordinance changes:
1.Enact a moratorium on new applications for platted subdivisions that propose the inclusion of a private road in the First Assessment District.
2.Enact a moratorium on any new and existing applications for a helipad within Crow Wing County.
